Dedicated to ensuring that all children and youth experiencing homelessness have access to the educational services to which they are entitled under the federal McKinney-Vento Act. The law is designed to increase the school enrollment, attendance, and success of children and youth who lack a fixed, regular and adequate nighttime residence.
2014/2015 – LEA’s reported 27,833 homeless students.
